Password required. This is powered by EBSCO host. You can create your own folder on EBSCO and access it 24/7. You can set preferences for your searching. You can search by lexile level and/or publication date. You can store actual articles, and articles that you just think that you might like to read. Then you can pull this information out whenever you are ready to work on your project.

Britannica

One-stop shopping for encylopedia entries.

Infotrac Student

Password required. Powered by another powerful database GALE CENGAGE LEARNING. You can search using one broad term, or narrow it down considerably based on publication dates, keywords, etc.

Literary Reference Center

Also powered by EBSCO host. Create a folder to hold your work which can be accessed anywhere 24/7.
You can search using All Categories, advanced search, or search specific categories. You can search by glossary. You can select FULL TEXT to see the entire text, or select the title to see the keywords and tags associated with your search term. You can work through the time-line for links to happenings throughout the ages.

GALE

Password required. There are sites for environment, general reference, history, literature, medicine and sciene. When you click on the + it expands the selection to show the exact reference title. You can search with the basic, advanced or subject guided search. You can also use parameters for publication date and type of publication.

ABC-CLIO

Password required. Database links include: American government; American history; Issues, understanding controversy and society; World at war: understanding conflict in society; World history: ancient and medieval eras; World history: the modern era.

Discovery Education

Password required. You can search by keyword or narrow your search by full video, encyclopedia articles, video segments, images, writing prompts or events. You can search video by closed captioning or editable videos.
